Evgeny Izotov got his education in St.Petersburg State Conservatory, post graduate course and graduated with honors from Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, where he got the Diplom Superieur de Concertiste. He was teached by professors Nina Seregina, Elena Semishina, Marian Ryabitzki. Within master-classes he worked with Dmitry Bashkirov, William Nabore, K.H.Kemmerling, Lazar Bermann.

He succeeds in both intencive concert work and teaching. Since 2004 he teaches Chamber Ensemble in St.Petersburg State Conservatory and since 2008 he is invited as piano professor in Silla University in Pusan South Korea. 

Sinсe his student years Evgeny Izotov has concert tours throughout Russia, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Brazil. His name can be seen on on playbills of best halls of St.Petersburg, Wigmore Hall, Festspielhaus (Baden-Baden), City-Hall (Hong-Kong), Le Corum Palace (Montpellier),  Salle de Concert Cortot and Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord (Paris), Nymphenburg Palace (München), Casals Hall Tokyo, Japan; Pusan Are-Centre (South Korea) and others.

E.Izotov took part in various music festival, among which are Harrogate in England, Busoni in Bolzano, festival named after I.Menuchin (Gstaad, Switzerland), Radio France (Montpellier), Kuhmo (Finland).

He perfomed with orchestra of SuedWestDeutche Philharmonie, Hermitage Orchestra, State Capella orchestra, St.Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of Petrozavodsk Philarmonia, Curitiba Festival Orchestra(Brazil), Pusan Philarmonic Orchestra (South Korea). He played under conduction of such conductior as Michail Jurowski, Jean-Claude Casadesus, Hubert Soudant, Moshe Atzmon, Avi Ostrowsky, Dorian Wilson, Robert Trevino, Alexander Chernushenko, Alim Shakh, Alexander Anisimov, Carlo Palecci, Emil Simon.

For many years Evgeny has strong collaboration with Chopin Comminity in St.Petersburg. He is invited to Chopin Festivals, “Days of Polish culture in Karelia” (2005, 2008). In 2008 he recorded Chopin’s preludes for jubileum CD, devoted 200 years of composer’s birthday. In 2018 the common work with well-known Soviet and Dutch violinist Zinoviy Winnikov “Fritz Kreisler. Original pieces and transcriptions". Z.Winnikov is a winner and laureate of All-Union and International competitions, he is one of the leader representatives of St.Petersburg Violin School. In 2013 he was granted with the title of The Order of the Netherlands Lion, the oldest and status supreme civil order of Netherlands.

E.Izotov works with such musicians as Sergey Dogadin (violin), Andrey Baranov (violin), Valery Sokolov (violin), Leonid Gorohov (cello), Dmitry Eremin (cello), quartet Atrium, quartet named after Shimanovskiy. Concerts of E.Izotov were broadcasted on Mezzo, MBC in South Korea, Radio France, BBC Radio and Radio Saint-Petersburg.
