About

Zueva Aleftina was born in 1949. Graduated from Ufa State Institute of Arts named after A.D. Frank. From 1973 till 1995, after graduation, she worked as a teacher at MSMC of USIA in the special piano class. From 1995 till nowadays A.F. Zueva works as a teacher of special piano and pedagogical training at the Rimsky-Korsakov Music College. She is Honored Artist of Russia. 

She is Russian Federation Concert Artists Union Member 

Awarded with an «For excellent work» sign.

In 2012 she got the St. Petersburg Government award – a sign «For the humanization of the school of St. Petersburg.» by the St. Petersburg Government Decree No. 987 dated 20.09.2012.

She was awarded with the certificate of honor «For active work in the Russian Federation Concert Artists Union» in 2004 and the diploma «For a significant contribution to Russian music pedagogy» from the Russian Federation Concert Artists Union in 2009.

 

Zueva A.F. regularly reads methodological lectures for school teachers in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.She is Russian Performing Arts Foundation grant holder 2004-2005, Moscow.

She is the compiler of a SAMPLE PROGRAM for the basic curriculum of the «Instrumental performance. Piano» specialty for children's music schools and children's art schools, St. Petersburg, 2012

In 2005, for the 15th anniversary of the Russian Federation Concert Artists Union, the collection «Singing Keys» was published - compiled by A.F. Zueva, which was republished in 2011. In 2012, a continuation of the «Singing Keys» series was published in 2 collections - compiled by A.F. Zueva for 5-7, 8-9 grades’ students in children's music schools and children's art schools. Zueva A.F. regularly conducts class concerts, recitals of college students and school students, master classes in music schools in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region: Gatchina, Vyborg, Kommunar, Vsevolozhsk, Sosnovy Bor, Tosno, Sosnovo. Performances are held in the prestigious halls of St. Petersburg: St. Petersburg State Academic Capella, the Grand and Small Halls of the D.D.Shostakovich St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonia, the Composers Union, the Rimsky-Korsakov Museum, the Sheremetyevsky Palace, Samoilov Family Museum, the General Consulate of the Republic of Poland in St.Petersburg.

During her work at the college and it’s music school many students of A.F. became laureates and diploma holders of international, city and regional competitions. Annually works as a city and regional jury member at piano competitions: International Festival-Competition of Children and Youth Creativity «Window to Europe», St. Petersburg, 2007-2012; International Festival of Young Pianists «Silver Lake», Gatchina, 2008-2020; Regional competition of children music school «Young talents», Gatchina, 1998-2020; Regional competition of young musicians «Vyborg Spring», Vyborg, since 2007; Borodin City Piano Competition in St. Petersburg; International Festival «Sounds and Colors of the World», St. Petersburg; Open competition of piano miniatures «Musical Pages», Kommunar, since 2008; All Over Russia festival-competition of children, youth and youth creativity «Melody of White Nights», St. Petersburg, June 2011; First Competition of Young Pianists of the Leningrad Region «Silver Note», «Young Soloist», St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Music College, December 2011.

Students of Zueva class were the first to say out loud and began to promote collections of St. Petersburg composers at various concert stages: A. Mylnikova Piano School by playing «Christmas toy», A.Smelkova Children and Youth Album by playing 24 pieces for piano.

A.F. Zueva is a teacher with broad erudition, creatively and enthusiastically involved to the process of young musicians education, constantly looking for new ways and methods to improve the professional training of pianists who inherit the best traditions of the Russian performing school.
