Marcus Vitolo
About
Marcus Vitolo, born in Stuttgart in 1967, received his first piano lessons at the age of six, and was admitted to the Conservatory "Giuseppe Verdi" in Milan, Italy, at the age of 11. Attended the Liceo artistico-Musicale del Conservatorio di musica "Giuseppe Verdi", Milano (Music-Artistic Gymnasium of the Conservatory "Giuseppe Verdi", Milan).

1985 he began his own piano lessons on a private basis, followed by Abitur. Until 1988 piano studies and concert diploma with Maestro Hans Fazzari, then further training with Walter Krafft, "Munich Music Seminar", 1989 civilian service in the clinic Haus Bruneck, Kreuth. 1990 Vocational training with Prof. Anneliese Schloßhauer, 1991 founding of his own pianoforte pupils group in the Tegernsee area and in the Pianohaus Mahler, Munich, extant to this day. 1993 further piano studies with Olaf Dressler and Sylvia Hewig-Tröscher at the "Richard Strauss" Conservatory, Munich, leading to degree as state certified piano teacher. Simultaneous continuation of vocal training with Horst Schwarzer, Munich, then with Lothar Roesler, then Elisabeth Artmeier-Mogl. Further activities in the musical field: as a singer (tenor) in several choirs (Choir community Neubeuern under Enoch zu Guttenberg, et al.) , as a soloist and/or as stand-in organist (evangelical) for various events such as cantatas, masses, baptisms, weddings, funerals; as a freelance collaborator in the "Freundeskreis für die Förderung junger Musiker" (Association for the Promotion of Young Musicians), (organization and concert review) and as a freelance collaborator for the local newspaper (Miesbacher Merkur).
